I usually wait a day, but then again I get acrylic on my toes(only my big toes though)because they are so weak and brittle.
Hoo! That's a toughie! If you stick to upper body exercises and wear flip-flops or sandals, I think you will be OK.
No after your nails dry under the light you should be good.

How much is a pedicure or a manicure?
For my mom's bday i was going to send her to get her nails done... i know she likes pedicures better but I don't know if I can afford one. So how much is a pedicure and how much is a french manicure?How much is a pedicure or a manicure?

Is it me or is it just plain weird to see elderly men getting a pedicure at a nail salon?

Younger guys who're like sport players (or just gay) seem fine.. but is it wrong of me to think it's wrong and kind of weird for elderly guys? It just looks like they want some pretty girls to touch them or something.

First I think you should define elderly. I mean, I don't know what you mean by that, are you talking about 90 or 40? Regardless of age anyway, I think it's unusual, but I don't think it's weird. So what is they want to have a pedicure, it's a free world and I think it's great if people (especially men) manage to overcome stereotypes and judgement and don't let society stop them doing what they want.
Secondly, what the hell is wrong if they do want pretty girls to touch them? They're not doing anything wrong. It seems a pretty harmless way to enjoy female company.
Oh and finally... You seem to think there is an age at when gay men cease to exist? Or turn straight? I know you don't mean any harm, but my philosophy is always to let people do what they enjoy doing, if it doesn't harm anyone else.Is it me or is it just plain weird to see elderly men getting a pedicure at a nail salon?
It's just you. Your just sterotyping the poor guy. Just because he is getting a pedicure doesn't mean he just wants pretty girls to touch him. You never know, His wife could be getting her hair done, and made him do it.

How much do you pay for a mani/pedi, and how much do you tip? If a different person does your manicure vs. pedicure, how much do you give each person?How much do you tip for a manicure %26amp; pedicure?
I would say $2 and up depending on how much the mani/pedi costs and how good of a job the person did. It totally depends on you. I've tipped $10 before because the person did a great job. If you have more than one person working on you, then you have to assess who did the majority of the work and split the tip accordingly.

It varies depending on how busy the place is, how much they do when they do your mani/pedi, etc. If you're getting acrylic nails, those take much longer than just having your nails painted.
