How do you start a mobile pedicure business?

OMG...that's such a great idea! GO FOR IT! You should also do waxing. I'm a mom and it's so hard for me to get out to get my nails and waxing done. I'll tell you why this is an awesome business....if your clients like you (and you're reasonably priced and fairly quick with your services) they'll just want to book you weekly (same day and time). Then you'll have great risidual (sp?) income...when you're fully booked, you train someone else to take on your clients and move on to your next group of clients...AWESOME AND GOOD FOR YOU!


ok..I'm excited for you now...here's what you do...get some flyers out there....go to mom and tot groups and ask if it would be ok to talk about your service for 5 minutes (explain that you can understand the challenges of being a parent and your business could help them)...that's one target market...go to hair salons that DO NOT offer the services you want to provide...tell the owner you'll give them a small cut for new clients they refer to you (maybe you could do the owner for free once or twice)....you can put up flyers where they're free of cost like at church or a community centre, on cars in parking lots (maybe ), get EXCITED and tell all your friends and family so they will refer to you as well. Change your voice mail with mellow music in the background thanking them for calling....______ mobile services where our mission is to make your life a little easier ....please leave a message and we'll return your call within 2 hours...'; say we so they think your company is really bigger than it is.

First of all you have to make a plan


Figure out what type of clients you would be servicing


like elderly people.


or people


people who are temporailly stuck somewhere like buisness people at hotels, or treatment centers.


When I say treatment centers I mean rehabs. this might sound strange ,but I was at one in malibu, Ca. it was very expensive. there was people from all over the US. The women were calling in manicurists and other services. (at triple the cost). These rehabs are all over the place. go any where women go.,parks %26amp; gymboree.


Also some women that are rich, like to have things come to them (at home)


You could start small and work up.


If you start with the elderly, go to several higher end retirement homes. Sell yourself to the person in charge. Give her fliers buisness cards. go back again and announce your arrival. ask if any one needs a manicure. First one is free.


brain storm and figure out where else you could go.


pass out fliers and cards at all of these places, plus gyms and markets.


Then run an ad in your local paper.


run this ad as often as possibile. Give your buisness a catchy and clever name. Make sure the name tells what you do. like........'At your service Nails';

People will like you and trust you if you use their first name, and make them important. listen %26amp; ,be sincere.


Go to hotels and ask them to make your service known to guests. Make up a nice little brochure of sometype. make it look classy and trendy.


there is all kinds of ideas and things you can do,


just go for it.. if things like health regulations try to stop you, go where you can't be stopped . I used to be a hairstylists.


I did peoples hair where ever I could. If my above suggestions do work or you don't like them for some reason. You can start slow build up a clientel of any type of woman in your community. Just do a lot of leg work passing out fliers and spreading the word. Get those plastic holders, and put fliers in them, leave at every store or buisnesss possibile.


Where there is a will there is a way.
Just make millions of buisness cards and just sand on oxford street and hand them out!!!
