Me and a few friends are getting pedicures today but we are only 14 and going alone and paying with our own money. Should we tip the people? If so how much? If we don't tip would that be rude?

As a manicurist I am not insulted when someone doesn't tip. But it is nice to receive a tip. 10-20% is customary. If the pedicure is $20 then $2-$4 is fine.How much should you tip for a pedicure?
I dont tip. they dont do anything special. we are already paying for the service as is. I take my ipod and relax on the chair and just pay the exact amount of the pedicure!
