Also take a basin and fill it with marbles. Hot soapy water. Let feet soak before doing the things with the tools. The marbles act as pressure points.
Use a cream that does not contain mineral oil (dries not softens feet) and a pulmace (pumice?) stone -

You need a nipper, a nail cutter, a cuticle remover and a pusher . Wet your toes with a cuticle remover, push it gently with a pusher, get the dirt cut it gently with a nipper and a nail cutter.
